relies on a healthy diet to stay healthy and look great. Now you have
one of the biggest reason to adopt a healthy and nutrition diet! Yippy!
You know you shouldn’t be eating a tons
of junkies but you have to replace those junky choices with the right
kind of food having certain vitamins, minerals and Proteins etc. Its the
most effective way to improve and treat skin conditions. It’s a proven
fact that skin health has always dramatically improved after making
purposeful changes to the daily diet. So why not make some healthy
choices now, that will encourage proper growth and immunity of the skin.
Here are 8 ways to nourish your skin from the inside and out. . . . .
1. QUIT THOSE FAD DIETS
Don’t ever follow fad diets as they often
come and go. You might get some benefits out of it for short term but
they mostly have disadvantages. When you entirely exclude certain types
of foods from your diet, you are actually depriving yourself of
essential vitamins, minerals and fatty acids needed for healthy skin. To
promote healthy cell regeneration and hydration, our body needs foods
having good fats in your diet. The moment you start restricted diets,
you actually lose the fatty acids that our body cannot produce on its
own, which causes dry, flaky skin. Your skin, hair and nails will show
the first signs of malnutrition and also, this will lead to the
inability to exercise, depression and body pain. Aren’t you thinking
about those horrible dark circles right now ? No – No ..Don’t think
about it as long as you are having nutritious diets.
To stay healthy, you must choose the
healthy diet which includes vitamins A, E, C, foods high in Omega 3s,
healthy carbs, which include whole wheat breads and fruits that are high
in antioxidants. Not it will help you in loosing weight but also keep
your skin looking and feeling great.
2. EAT LOTS OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES BECAUSE THEY HAVE LOADS OF ANTIOXIDANTS
Fruits and vegetables contain a loads of
antioxidants which stimulate blood flow in the skin can help encourage
the growth of new cells and make sun-damaged skin appear younger. They
also prevent the signs of ageing. In addition, antioxidants may also
improve the health and overall quality of your skin. So fellas, here I
am giving you just one more reason to add those colourful Fruits &
Veggies in your meal plan. Remember, deep & dark colored Fruits and
Veggies contains more antioxidants properties! So have them more in your
daily meals!! Yum-Yum- Yummy!!
3. START DRINKING SOME GREEN TEA RIGHT NOW!
I love Green Tea and drink at least 2
full mugs(5OOml each mug) of Green Tea Daily. Green Tea is full of
antioxidants and make a great alternative to your usual Diet Coke.
Antioxidants may actually reverse the effects of ageing by improving
skin health and rejuvenating its appearance. Although, it is almost
difficult to make wrinkles disappear but antioxidants can help plump out
the skin and make it appear more youthful. Most antioxidants are great
for reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
So, Sip some green tea and you have a
fat-free and calorie-free beverage. However, you can skip these drinks
at night, if they interfere in your your sleep.
4. PROTEIN INTAKE IS IMPORTANT FOR CLEAR, HEALTHY AND GLOWING SKIN
Okay, If I ask , what exactly you want to
see when you look in the mirror? Dull face, age spots and some new
wrinkles? Or radiant, soft, supple, blemish- free glowing skin? Well
everybody knows the answer!
Our muscles, hair, nails, skin and eyes
are made of protein therefore Protein is vital for good looking skin,
necessary for tissue repair and for the construction of new tissue.
Proteins contain amino acids that support healthy and glowing skin. Eat
more poultry, lean meats, fish, milk, beans and eggs to up your intake.
5. SAY NO TO FULL FAT DAIRY VERSIONS
I know we just cant live without dairy
foods! Can we? As we cannot avoid dairy items intakes but yes you can
opt for the low-fat versions over the full fat dairy which actually
control your saturated fat intake, while also providing you vitamin D
and protein which are vital for healthy skin and body. Go for low-fat
cheese, milk etc. and you’ll have less skin breakouts! Yayy!!
6. SLOW DOWN ON THE CARBS GUYS!
Carbohydrates are a source of energy.
They provide us fuel for our everyday task. But wait when we over eat
them, they do only harm to your body as well as your skin. Many
researches show that a diet laced with sugar and refined carbohydrates
mess with the firmness of your skin, which can lead to wrinkles and fine
lines which can be more ageing for the skin than a lifetime of lying in
the sun! Think!!!
Eat plenty of pulses, porridge, beans,
wheat bread, popcorn and oatmeal and other slow-releasing carbohydrates.
Such slow-releasing carbohydrates release sugar into our blood stream
gradually, delivering you with a stable supply of energy and leaving you
feeling satisfied for longer, So no more SNACKS. Avoid high GI carbohydrates like biscuits and sugar/cold drinks, as they lead to production of insulin, which may again lead to wrinkles! eww
7. DRINK UP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
Do you know, our skin is 64 percent
water! Skin needs moisture to stay flexible. Without adequate water
intake, skin appears duller, and wrinkles and pores look more prominent.
This is because; water plumps up the skin. That’s why even mild
dehydration causes your skin to look dry and tired. Drink at least Eight
to Ten glasses of water everyday. This will also flush out the toxins
and eliminate the dirt that clogs the pores of your skin, giving you a
healthier glow.
8. NUTS & SEEDS FOR THE BEAUTIFUL SKIN
All nuts and seeds are rich in vitamin E,
an antioxidant that helps keep your skin beautiful. They are also rich
in Protein, omega-3 fats, selenium, Vitamin-E and zinc that keeps your
skin smooth, supple, and firm. Eat them by the handful for a snack or
add them to your cakes or oatmeal. Nuts and seeds also make a great
addition to salads.
p.s.
1) Nuts and seeds are best eaten raw and unsalted.
2) Although nuts and seeds have many benefits but do not overeat them else too much of this can wreak havoc on your waistline and digestion.
Making above simple yet very effective changes to your diet can have a significant impact on your skin appearance in a short amount of time!! Try them out . . . ..
