Winter Sangria - Recipe
Warm up this winter with a glass of sangria filled with apples, pomegranate, cranberries, clementines, and a hint of rosemary.
I hope you all had a fabulous holiday, I feel as if I am still in a bit
of a turkey dinner and pecan pie coma today. The start of the holiday
season is always filled with fun, but with that is a bit of sadness.
Thanksgiving to me is the end of fall ( I know the calendar begs to
differ) and the start to a long New England Winter. This is a hard
reality to swallow when you live in the arctic tundra.
To ease myself into December, I need a cocktail in hand. Though sangria
can be filled with lots of warm winter flavors, I feel like it is so
sweet and summery. So this is sort of my fuck you to winter.
Mother nature can dump another foot of snow on this house, as long as I have plenty of sangria on hand, I can deal.
