Your alarm goes off
in the morning, and you’re ready to—go back to sleep. But it doesn’t
have to be that way. From the moment you wake up to the mid-afternoon
slump all the way through the evening, you can take steps to feel more
energized.
The choices you make, from what you eat
to what you do—and don’t—drink (good news for coffee drinkers, not so
much for winos) to whether you watch TV in bed can affect how rested
you’ll feel each day. Translation: You need to fuel yourself in order to
be productive at work all day long.
So go ahead, pat yourself on the back for what you’re already doing;
and even if you’ve already broken a rule or two, there are enough here
that I bet you could find at least one new habit to incorporate into
your day to have more energy. (Hello, avocados!)
