5 cute and easy gym Hairstyles
I would like to think that I am a fairly serious gym-goer and while I don’t go there to do anything but take my stresses out on the treadmill, I would still like to look cute while doing it!
I usually hit the gym after work, which means I’ve already given my hair a quick tease and a little time with my straightening irons in the morning, so my hair is usually down and free flowing by the time I get there.
The problem is that by the time I get to the gym all I want to do is get changed and get a quick workout in before I have to rush home and cook dinner…! Therefore I really don’t have time to look cute! I often use this and the fact that I am going to the gym to “go hard or go home” as my excuse for quickly sweeping my hair into a basic messy ponytail. I’m not saying that this isn’t fine for the gym, because it is, my problem is that a swept back ponytail is not exactly flattering for me!
When I leave my hair down and go hard, my post perm hair (6 painful years) goes curly, which could actually be good too, except I am now post bangs, the stage where it is too short to sweep into a ponytail and still short and thick enough to look out of place when curly!
Don’t worry I haven’t completely given up yet! I have found some great hairstyle ideas that can be tweaked so that they don’t take too much time and work for you too if you are also in my position! What were we thinking hey…?
Give them a try, as I personally loved looking into the mirror whilst working out and seeing that my hair was still in place! And…I looked cute! Have you ever noticed how great you feel when your hair looks great? That feeling, the feeling that even without make-up you still look good! I promise you it made me seriously go harder at the gym, I FELT GREAT!
I personally love the first pic below as even when really wet (hot yoga), my hair looked amazing! You could even get away with just running the hairdryer over it and leaving it in until the following morning, I had fantastic wavy hair the next day!

This is my favorite, as I said before this style looked great and kept my hair neat and out of my face, but most importantly it was quick-ish…I’m still new to this style so I’m a little slow but I know that with practice I will get quicker, also it doesn’t need to look perfect, after all we are going to the gym so if there’s loose strands here and there, leave them.

If you have short hair, I envy you! No matter what you ladies do, your hair still looks great. The messier the better! So this is hairstyle number 2 – get a cute short hair cut!
Kim K is a perfect 10 as she goes to the gym. The ‘messy bun’ is super quick and easy and will keep you looking effortlessly chic!
The Wimbledon has just begun and what a great time to give this style a go! Simple, quick and super sporty!
